Advent Books
Our church has gifted every family an Advent devotion for this season. You can find them at the Welcome Center and at each door of the sanctuary. Inside the book is a bookmark with all of our Advent events so you can keep track throughout the month. The devotion begins on Sunday, November 30th.
December 3rd- Jingle Jam
Join us for a Christmas party big enough for the whole family. Jingle Jam is Wednesday, December 3rd at 6 pm in the church sanctuary. This is a fun, interactive-family-centered experience celebrating God's greatest gift. This service is geared towards families with children 3 years old through 5th grade. There will be a nursery available for our youngest family members. We look forward to your family joining us to remember what Christmas is all about at Jingle Jam.
December 1st-4th Jolly Jog
We hope you will help support our Jolly Jog fundraiser for our Bright Beginnings program here at First Ardmore. Bright Beginnings provides a Christ-centered learning environment, five days a week, for children ages six weeks old through five years old. During the Jolly Jog, the Colvert Ministry Center will be set up with a Christmas-themed race course for our children to run laps and earn money for our school. Even our youngest children are able to participate through crawling or being pushed in a stroller. All money raised goes directly to Bright Beginnings for items for our classrooms and for our teachers! December 7th- Blue Christmas
A Blue Christmas Service is offered especially for those hurting during the holidays. Some come because of the death of a loved one. Some are far from home. Some are lonely, struggling, or in a place in their lives where a moment of reflection and quiet is needed. Some are hurt because of the events in our nation or world. Whatever it may be, please come and join us on Sunday, December 7th, at 5:30 pm in McClure Chapel for a service of holy communion, candle lighting, and beautiful music.
December 14th- Christmas Cantata "Unto Us, Gloria!"
Come hear our sanctuary choir and handbells perform songs proclaiming the good news of Jesus' birth on Sunday, December 14th, at the 9 am Traditional Service.
December 18th- Christmas Concert
Join the First Methodist Church and First Presbyterian Church choirs, handbells and special instrumentalists in a combined concert to bring glorious music for the Christmas season. This special Christmas concert will be held in the sanctuary at 6 pm on Thursday, December 18th.
December 24th- Christmas Eve
Epic - 4 pm | Traditional - 6:30 pm
